DIY Christmas Baubles | MiniZoo Blog
With Christmas just around the corner, I'm sure you've already started decorating your house and set up the Christmas tree. Include your figurines in your decor this year with these fun DIY figurine Christmas baubles! They are so easy to make, and with no glue needed, you can take your figurine back out after the holiday season to play with again!
Here's what you'll need:
- Clear DIY Christmas Baubles. Make sure they're big enough for the figurine(s) you want to display inside! We used a 100mm size.
- Animal figurines. We chose the Southlands Brumby Foal.
- Fake snow
- Mini Christmas Trees
- Twine or ribbon
- Extra decorations (optional)
Step 1. Fill one half of the bauble with fake snow.
Step 2. Add any decorations you have to the other half of the bauble. I used a cut out house as a background. I then added some blue tack to the bottom of the bauble and stuck the mini tree on. You can choose not to use blue tack here, but I found it helped keep the Christmas tree in place.
Step 3. Add your chosen figurine.
Step 4. Bring the two halves together, being careful not to lose any of the snow! Shake the snow around to fill the bottom half and finish your scene.
Step 5. Attach some ribbon or twine so you can hang it on your tree.
And that's it! Your DIY Christmas bauble is finished!
