Nicely shaded chestnut coat, cute white markings and a beautiful flowing mane and tail on a rarely seen Australian Stock Horse.

This was a difficult one to rate. The quality of the figurine is very good, however it's not an Australian Stockhorse.
I bought is as a gift for my daughter, who took it to a recent Australian Stock Horse Event. She showed it to one of the officials, who took it with them into the arena to be judged. The consesus was that the figurine did not represent a stockhorse and used lots of technical information to explain why. The quickest way to describe what the said is "it doesn't look like any stockhorse we've ever seen. This is a quarter horse. We think this figurine was made by someone who has never seen a stockhorse and thinks that no one will be able to tell the difference." It generated a lot of conversation at the subsequent dinner. The figurine was passed around and soundly mocked by the stockhorse experts, and someone took a photo of it to put on the wall of shame.
So. If you want a figurine of a stockhorse, probabably don't get this one. If you DO decide you want it anyway, don't take it to an event filled with experts who can pick a fault from 50 m away and will loudly tell everyone about it.
It's a nice quarter horse, though.

The figurine is much, much better than the photo. The broad forehead, the stocky body, the semi-shiny painting, the grey spots detail at the inner side of the legs. Very life-like.
