Lovely detail, Collecta does amazing ungulates.

I love the detail of this figure.

I love it! I have never ordered from this company, so I was concerned that the quality may not be as good as in the photos. Normally I buy Schleich for wild animals and Papo for dinosaurs, lizards, etc. I did notice that many of the ungulates not only have reviews on this website, but the reviews are all good. I bought the bongo (m), bongo calf, nyala (m), and okapi calf. The other reviews were very helpful/accurate - the colors are a bit different. Mine has virtually none of the beautiful copper tones (there's a tiny spot on the forehead), which is why I am only giving 4 stars. Also, I remember this particular antelope having a darker, richer coat than the figure suggests. All that being said, the figures are very good quality. Overall, I am very satisfied with my order :)

Like with many of Collecta's figurines, there are some minor differences in the paint job compared to the stock photo. The dorsal mane is brushed with white, the copper face markings are not quite as strong. These are simply differences though, it's a very nice detailed figure in an excellent strong pose. A top figurine of this rare antelope!

Very detailed sculpture and painting. Especially the hair inside the ears, the horns, the dark brown mane is scattered with white hair, the white marking on the face, neck, flanks, and legs, the light brown patch around the eyes, on the forehead, and the back of the ears. Really magnificent.
